High Court Recruitment 2025: Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, has started the online application process for the recruitment of 75 Peon posts. The application process for this recruitment is going on. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting highcourtchd.gov.in till 11:59 pm on 4 August 2025.

A total of 75 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, out of which 63 posts are reserved for the General category, 8 posts for the BC/SC/ST category, and 4 posts for Ex-Servicemen.

Educational Qualification and Diploma Requirements

Candidates applying for the post of Peon in the Punjab and Haryana High Court must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board. Apart from this, one must have done a minimum one-year full-time diploma course from a recognized institute related to cooking or culinary. This diploma will be valid only from the recognized institute.

Experience and Qualification
The applicant should have at least three years of experience in cooking in a reputed hotel, restaurant, government department, or undertaking. Also, it has been ensured that all the required qualifications and experience have been obtained on or before 15 July 2025. Any qualification or experience after this will not be valid.

What should be the age?
The candidates applying for the post of peon should be less than 18 years of age and not more than 27 years of age. The age of the candidates will be calculated as of 4 August 2025. It is worth noting that in this recruitment, no relaxation in the maximum age limit will be given to the candidates of the reserved category.

This much will be the application fee.

General, SC, ST, and OBC category candidates from outside Punjab, Haryana, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh will have to pay Rs 700 as application fee. At the same time, the fee for local SC, ST, and BC category candidates of Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh has been fixed at Rs 600. The application fee for ex-servicemen has also been kept at Rs 600.
