DU UG CSAS Admission: Delhi University has released the first allotment list under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to undergraduate courses. Students who have been allotted seats in this list can confirm the seat within the stipulated time limit.

However, the names of many students have not appeared in the first list, due to which they are upset. But there is no need to panic, as the second allotment list will be released soon.

Record number of registrations this year

A record number of students have registered for admission in the University. 239,890 candidates have submitted their preferences for a total of 71,642 seats in 79 programs in 69 colleges and various departments of DU. Given this large number, it is possible that many eligible candidates may not have gotten a seat in the first allotment list, but they may get a chance in the upcoming lists.

Delhi University Admission Dean Prof. Haneet Gandhi said that in the first round, about two lakh 40 thousand eligible candidates were considered for allocation of program and college combinations based on their preferences. On this basis, a total of 93,166 allotments have been made in the first CSAS round itself. Apart from this, 1325 seats have been allotted in the single girl category. A total of 259 seats have been allotted in the orphan category. In these, seats have been allotted to 127 girl students and 132 boys.

The second allotment list will be released on this day.

Delhi University (DU) has announced that the second allotment list of UG CSAS 2025 will be released on July 28 at 5 pm. Students whose names did not appear in the first list can now get a chance in the next list.

Let us tell you that the academic session of the first year of graduation is going to start from August 1, 2025. In such a situation, students have been advised to confirm the seat and complete the admission process on time.
