Aadhar letter is a paper based laminated letter, which mentions a QR code along with the date of issue and printed date. Aadhar letter can be easily made for free. Apart from this, it can also be easily updated biometrically. It is sent by post to the person who has the Aadhar card. If for some reason your original Aadhar card is lost or damaged, then you can also get a new one.

For this you do not have to do anything special, just go to the UIDAI website and order online with a fee of Rs 50 to replace the Aadhar letter.

Aadhar PVC Card

Aadhar PVC card is the new version of Aadhar. This Aadhar card is PVC based, but is stronger than the normal Aadhar card made of paper. That is why it does not tear easily. It includes digital signature, secure QR code, a photo and general information.

PVC cards are sent to the applicant's address through speed post. Otherwise you can get it by visiting the UIDAI website with Aadhaar card number, virtual ID and enrollment with a fee of Rs 50.

mAadhaar

This is also a form of Aadhaar card. It is a mobile application created by UIDAI. It gives Aadhaar number holders an interface to carry their Aadhaar record registered with CIDR. This record includes a photo and Aadhaar number along with demographic data. It also has a QR code for offline verification.

mAadhaar can be downloaded without any fee. The mAadhaar profile is considered a valid ID by airports and railways. Apart from this, you can also use it to share eKYC.

eAadhaar

This is a secure form of Aadhaar card, which is password protected. It has a QR code for offline verification. It is digitally signed by UIDAI. You can download your e-Aadhaar by visiting the official website of UIDAI using your registered mobile number.

Every Aadhaar enrolment or update instantly generates an e-Aadhaar, which can be downloaded for free. It can also be used everywhere and works just like a physical copy.
