Los Angeles, Los Angeles: Johnny Depp has joined hands for a unique story with ‘The Martian’ filmmaker Ridley Scott, which promises to look different between the remake and the sequel. According to Variety reports, the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ has signed a new graphic novel called “Hyde”, which is said to be based on Robert Louis Louis Stevenson’s novel ‘Strange Case of Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde’.

The novel is owned by Depp, Scott and Production Company, Mechanical Cake. It will be launched with a graphic novel series on Halloween later this year. Production CEO Jesse Negron, this novel series will focus on the life of Mr. Hyde, when he conquers his Dr. Jecle form. In a press release, quoting the variety, it is said, “Mr. Hyde will expose his black tendencies, hiding in London’s sewers and using a serum to transform others into more hide.” This character can also look like Depp, as the actor has contributed to this character.

Talking about this, Johnny Depp reported that it was really amazing to get a chance to work with Ridley Scott in the world of Robert Louis Stevenson’s “masterful characters”. And hopefully it will be surprising for them too. It is wonderful and beautiful to have this trust with Ridley. According to the outlet, he further said, “A master. On the other hand, the offer of the Hyde and the response of Scott on a fake poster was not a difficult task!” The project was previously released in October 2024 about the project.

Further information is expected to be found in the comic-con program to be held on Thursday, July 24. This graphic novel will be displayed in the program titled “Hyde: When the Worlds of Graphic Novels and Movies Colloid”. Jesse Negron will be present with Editor Dave Elliot and other members.
