India's team update for 4th Test
Shubman Gill has provided a lot of updates before the Manchester Test. Akash Deep has been ruled out. Rishabh Pant will be India's wicketkeeper. Karun Nair isn't out of contention. And Gill also hinted at Anshul Kamboj making his Test debut at Old Trafford.
Gill likened to Kohli
Ricky Ponting thinks Gill showed aggression at Lord's against England's opener because he wanted to show his team the way he wants them to play. He wanted to stamp his authority. Ponting likened Gill's behaviour as India's Test captain to another successful skipper, Virat Kohli.
Nair deserves long rope like KL Rahul
Harbhajan Singh thinks dropping Karun Nair after three underwhelming performances won't be right. He cited KL Rahul and Gill, who were backed to the hilt despite average returns for a long period of time. He thinks Nair deserves the same treatment and should be given at least the Manchester Test to prove himself.

Roger Binny to continue as BCCI President?
3 days ago, Roger Binny turned 70. As per BCCI's rules, he can't continue as BCCI President. But that may change soon. However, there is a chance that BCCI will come under the National Sports Bill. If that happens, Binny could continue as BCCI President for 5 more years.
