Follow this process to apply for a ration card from mobile

  • First of all, download the UMANG app on your smartphone.
  • Now register by entering your mobile number.
  • Go to the app’s homepage.
  • Now click on the Services section below.
  • Scroll down to the Utility Services section and click on the Apply Ration Card option.
  • Select your state here.
  • Now fill in all your personal details like name, father’s/husband’s name, date of birth and address.
  • Upload all important documents now.
  • Finally you have to click on the submit button.
  • This is how you can apply for a ration card from home.
  • Currently, only people from certain states/UTs such as Chandigarh, Ladakh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli can apply online through the UMANG app.
