Tejas Special Train: The addition of new features comes as a big boon to train passengers across the nation. To the south, Western Railways intends to operate a superfast Tejas special train at a fixed price from Mumbai Central to Indore station, catering to both convenience and travel demand. This will mark the first time the Tejas special train will operate in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Previously, the Tejas train operated on routes like Lucknow–New Delhi, Ahmedabad–Mumbai, and Mumbai–Madgaon. This information was shared by Vineet Abhishek, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railways, in regard to the special train.

Train number 09085 Mumbai Central.

Indore Special will leave from Mumbai Central on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:20 PM, arriving at Indore by 1 pm the next day. The train will operate from July 23 to August 29.

Train number 09086 Indore

Mumbai Central Special will be leaving Indore on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 5 pm and will arrive at Mumbai Central by 7.10 pm the following day. The operational period of the train will be from 24 July to 30 August. En route, the train will also stop at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Dahod, Ratlam and Ujjain stations. The train will be equipped with First AC, AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier coaches.

Booking opens on 21 July.

Train numbers 09085 and 09086 will be available for booking from July 21 at all PRS counters and at the IRCTC website. For any other detailed queries, passengers can visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.
