Otávio had emerged as a priority target for Paris FC, who had also considered former Marseille centre-back Chancel Mbemba internally in recent weeks. Otávio is the third summer signing for Paris FC, who previously landed Nantes winger Moses Simon and Reims left-back Nhoa Sangui. The team adds that the Brazilian centre-back has smashed Paris FC’s club record transfer fee. The outlet understands that Porto have agreed to part ways with Otávio in exchange for a transfer fee ranging from €10m to €12m. “We are delighted to welcome Otávio. He is a defender of a certain profile that we did not have”, Said PFC Sporting Director François Ferracci. “He has significant potential and very strong qualities.
