According to webmd, mehndi may cause some people allergic, which can cause problems like redness, itching, burning, swelling or blisters on the skin. Apart from this, natural mehndi is usually safe. But according to webmD, it may cause allergies in some cases. Chemicals like PPD are added to black mehndi, which are used to improve color.

Some people may cause problems like redness or swelling in the skin after applying henna. So first do the patch test. If you feel like itching, burning or redness after applying henna, wash it with water immediately and consult an expert. Due to which the trouble can be reduced during that time. Instead of chemical mehndi in the market, you can make mehndi in a natural way at home.

How to make mehndi at home?

To make mehndi at home, you will need dry mehndi leaves or mehndi powder found in the market. Sieve this powder, so that the thick pieces separate. After this, take an iron bowl and make a thick paste by mixing mehndi powder and some water in it. Now add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 3 to 4 drops of tea tree oil. After this, mix all these well and keep the iron pan overnight or 6 to 7 hours.
