Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan’s old Rolls Royce cars are currently at the center of tax dispute. These luxury vehicles were bought by Yusuf Sharif, a businessman known as ‘KGF Babu’, but neither their ownership was transferred nor paid road tax in Karnataka.

Rolls Royce Tax Controversy: The old luxury cars of Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan are causing tax controversy in Bengaluru these days. The current owner of these cars is named ‘KGF Babu’ i.e. Yusuf Sharif, on which Karnataka RTO has fined a total of Rs 38 lakh. This action was taken by Bengaluru RTO, where it was found that these cars were running for a long time without paying road tax in Karnataka. These two expensive roles Royce cars are still legally registered in the name of Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, but in reality these two stars are no longer the owners of these vehicles.

Rolls Royce Cars/Times Now

At one time Bollywood emperor Amitabh Bachchan’s first car is white rolls Royce Fantum (MH 11 AX 1). The second car is being told by Aamir Khan, which Rolls Royce Ghost (MH 02 BB 2, Is. Now both these vehicles were running on the streets of Bengaluru on the streets of Bengaluru without any legitimate permission, without registering in Karnataka and paying local road tax without registration. According to RTO officials, there is a tax of Rs 18.53 lakh on Fantum and Rs 19.73 lakh on Ghost.

Yusuf Sharif (also known as KGF Babu), claimed that he had bought these vehicles years ago, but has not yet transferred their names. Yusuf Sharif said, “I had bought Ghost from Amitabh Bachchan’s fantam and another actor, but I have not yet changed their ownership name.” According to the law, if an external state train runs in another state for more than a year, then it is mandatory to register it and pay local road tax.

The RTO team reached Sharif’s house with full documents, including Joint Commissioner Shobha. Their target was clearly taxed luxury vehicles. Officials said Fantum was also tested in 2021, but then she was for less than a year in Bengaluru, so she was released. But now both the vehicles were running for longer than the fixed limit and the documents were also not updated.

Yusuf Sharif, popularly known as ‘KGF Babu’, was once a scrap dealer, but now he has a big name in real estate and politics world. He is a native of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) in Karnataka, who gained popularity after the Blockbuster Kannada film series ‘KGF’. In 2021, he contested the Karnataka Legislative Council and declared his assets Rs 1,744 crore. His expensive Test and celebrity connections have always been in the discussion but this time the matter has been directly to the law.
