The last date for application for recruitment to the posts of Gram Vikas Adhikari has been extended by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. Candidates who have not yet applied for the posts of Gram Vikas Adhikari have now been given a second chance to apply. Under the official notification, the last date to apply for the posts of Gram Vikas Adhikari has been extended by seven days from July 18. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply for these posts through online mode till 11.59 pm on July 25, 2025. Post related details and application fee
A total of 850 eligible candidates will be appointed for Gram Vikas Adhikari, in which a total of 683 posts have been set for non-scheduled areas and a total of 167 posts for scheduled areas. Apart from this, to apply for these posts, candidates will also have to deposit the application fee. The application fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs 600, and for OBC candidates of Rajasthan, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, and Divyang candidates, the application fee is Rs 400.
Educational Qualification
To apply for the post of Gram Vikas Adhikari, candidates must have graduated from a recognized institute in India. Apart from this, candidates should also have an O Level Certificate. Also, candidates who have done a Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Application are eligible to apply for this post.
Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates to apply is 18 years, and the maximum age is 40 years. Also, age relaxation will be provided to the candidates. General women, male Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, OBC, and EWS candidates of Rajasthan will be given a year's relaxation in the age limit. Female Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, OBC, and EWS candidates of Rajasthan will be given a year's relaxation in the age limit.
Exam Pattern
In the written exam, candidates will be asked 160 multiple-choice type questions of 200 marks from language knowledge, mathematics, general knowledge, geography and natural resources, agriculture and economic resources in the context of Rajasthan, history and culture of Rajasthan and basic computer subjects. The duration of the exam has been fixed at three hours. There will also be negative marking of one-third marks for wrong answers in the exam.
