Virtual court process after e-challan: If you violate traffic rules in India, then e-challan is issued against you. The scheduled period of filling this challan is 60 days. But if you do not fill the challan within this deadline, then this case is taken to the virtual court. In such a situation, let us understand in detail what is the process after this.
If the challan is not paid after the 60 -day deadline of the challan is not paid, the case is automatically handed over to the virtual court. It is a digital court, where you can fill the challan online sitting at home or also challenge the invoice. So that it can be forgiven by proving your point. However, if the challan is not paid for 90 days in the virtual court, the matter is considered more serious. The case of this challan is then sent to the local or to the physical court.
When the case arrives in the local court, summons is issued in your name. This means that you have to appear in the court on a fixed date. If you ignore the summons or do not appear in the court on the scheduled date, the court can issue a non-boundary warrant against you. This condition is also considered legally very serious and worrying.
If the challan is constantly ignored under any circumstances, then the concerned RTO can blacklist your vehicle. Its direct impact will be on vehicle insurance, sales, and registration transfer in other states. Also, the traffic police can seize your vehicle anytime.
