A very painful and tragic incident has come to light from Vasai area of Maharashtra. Where a four -year -old girl falls from the 12th floor window and loses her life. The incident took place around 8:30 pm on the night of 22 July. The girl went to one of her relatives’ house with her mother, after which both of them were now about to leave their house that the negligence of a moment snatched the life of an innocent.

The girl fell down after losing balance
According to the police, the woman placed the girl on a shoe rack placed near an open window, so that she could wear slippers herself. There was no grill for safety in the window. While slipping from the rack, the girl sat in the window backwards and fell down after losing balance. The girl died on the spot.

CCTV video of the incident surfaced
The video of this painful incident has been captured in the CCTV camera of the apartment, which has now gone viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that the mother opens the door and goes inside the flat. The girl is seen moving near shoes and slippers. After some time the mother comes back, picks up the girl and puts the girl on a shoe rack and starts wearing slippers herself.

Man immediately runs towards the stairs
The girl walks towards the window, tries to sit there and suddenly loses balance. The next moment she disappears and a loud scream is heard. A man immediately runs towards the stairs, while the woman screams the name of the girl. Nearby women also come out and a woman climbs on the window and peeps down.

Police registered a case of death
The case has been registered as accidental death at Naigaon police station in Nalasopara. The police is investigating the case, although no case of criminal negligence has been registered so far. This incident is a serious warning that those living in tall buildings should install security grills in balconies and windows and additional vigilance around children, as a small omission can prove fatal.
