Jennie talks about viral music, going on tour and more
During a recent interview with ELLE, the idol talked about her album release and even shared her take on the challenges she faces during tour. The idol revealed, “While preparing my solo full-length album ‘ Ruby ,’ I learned and felt so much. I kept pushing forward, facing challenges, going through trial and error—and at some point, I realised I had become a little stronger”.
She also shared how, since every member of BLACKPINK has had solo experience and has managed to learn from their own unique experiences, they have come out stronger as a group. “We’ve come to understand each other more deeply, and we’ve become a more flexible and mature team. I think these upcoming activities will feel really special, both for me and for the other members”, she added during the interview.
When asked about her viral hit single ‘Like JENNIE’, the idol expressed how she wanted to spread the message of self-love amongst the public. She talked about how she wished for people to understand that they can love themselves and work with it in their own way, whatever it may be. While talking about the song, she even added, “I hope everyone who sings this song can feel that same sense of empowerment”.
Jennie talks about enjoying the simple life
Jennie recently shared during the interview that she loves to catch up on her sleep no matter what. She shared that she prioritises her comfortable clothing over all else and loves doing “ordinary” things in her everyday routine.
The idol added along, saying that “It’s a really simple, ordinary thing, but I love the quiet and warmth I feel in that moment”.
