8 August- Banks will remain closed on this day in Sikkim and Odisha due to the Tendong Lo Rum Phat festival.

9 August- On this day, the festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated across the country. Due to which almost all private and government banks will remain closed in Central India. These include Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.

13 August- Banks are going to remain closed on this day due to Patriot Day in Manipur.

15 August- On this day, there is a national holiday across the country due to Independence Day. Due to this, all private and government banks will remain closed.

16 August- On this day, private and government banks of almost all the states of the country will remain closed due to Janmashtami.

16 August- All banks in Gujarat and Maharashtra will remain closed due to Parsi New Year.

26 August- On this day, banks will remain closed in Karnataka and Kerala due to Ganesh Chaturthi.

27 August- On this day, banks will remain closed in Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Odisha, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana due to Ganesh Chaturthi.

28 August- On this day, banks will remain closed in Odisha, Punjab, and Sikkim due to Nuakhai.
