Due to this, the Kedarnath Yatra route has been closed for two days, due to which thousands of passengers are trapped and are facing a lot of trouble. What is the situation? According to the reports, according to the reports, areas like Guptkashi and Phata (PHATA) of Rudraprayag district have been receiving heavy rains since last night. During this time, a cloudburst near Gaurikund caused several roads and landslides, due to which the Gaurikund-Kedarnath pedestrian road has been closed at the moment. The problems of the passengers: Due to the closure of the passengers, passengers going to Kedarnath are facing huge problems. Many passengers are trapped at stops like Gaurikund, Sonprayag and Fata. The yatra has been prevented by the district administration as a precaution until the roads are cleared and the situation is not safe. Administration action: Administrative and SDRF teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations on the spot. Efforts are being made to remove debris from the roads and reopen the journey route. Passengers have been appealed to postpone the yatra at the moment and wait for the weather to be normal. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are likely to continue in the area in the next 24 to 48 hours. In such a situation, it may take more time for the travel route to open. Passengers are advised to keep in touch with the weather information and local administration before planning any journey.
