Indian Islands: There are many places in the world that are disappearing due to some reason or the other. In this list, there is an island located between the Bay of India and Bengal, named Numur. This island is now completely submerged. This island was also called Purvasha in India, while in Bangladesh it was known as South Talpatti. For years, the two countries have claimed their own claim on this island, but climate change has ended the dispute. When was the island discovered? There is a dispute between India and Bangladesh over the island of Numur, although the island was uninhabited. India had first deployed a Navy ship and then BSF personnel and hoisted their flag. Then the temperature started rising, the glaciers started melting. Due to the melting of the glacier, the island drowned in water and it felt as if nature had resolved all the controversy. The island was present in the Bay of Bengal. The island was discovered by an American satellite in 1970. When Numur was submerged in water? Actually, the island was located between India and Bangladesh, hence Bangladesh also described it as its island. There was a sharp controversy between the two countries over the island, but then the island was submerged by 2010, due to increasing global warming in 1980. Since 1987, the island continued to erach, then it became uninhabited by 2000. By then the BSF had vacated the outpost from there, but the Navy patrolling continued. In 1990, the island was only three meters above sea level. The island was submerged before Numur. Prior to Thanumur Island, Lohachara Island was also submerged in water in 1996. By 2006, this drowned island was seen, after which the depth of water reached two to three meters here. The whole world mourned the end of this island. In 2007, a model of Lohachara was also given at the Oscar Film Festival, when it was said that it was the first island in the world to suffer global warming.
