Toulouse FC have reached an agreement with Independiente to sign Santiago Hidalgo (20), according to a report from The team.

Toulouse have already lost Joshua King this summer, whilst Zakaria Abouklhal is set to also leave the club. The Moroccan, a key member of the squad since his move back in 2022, is on the verge of completing a move to Serie A side Torino. That deal is set to be worth €10m and some of that money looks set to be immediately reinvested into improving the playing squad.

The team understands that Toulouse have reached a full agreement with Independiente, which will see 20-year-old forward Hidalgo join. That deal is reportedly worth a little under €3m. The young Argentine forward is set to sign a four-year deal with Téfecé.

Toulouse, by signing the forward, have beaten the likes of Dynamo Moscow, Torino, and Hellas Verona, to his signature. He is expected in Toulouse in the coming days to undergo his medical.
