Scott Mescudi aka Kid Cudi’s Happy Gilmore 2 cameo explained

Happy Gilmore 2 had no shortage of cameos. Throughout the movie, surprise faces kept popping in. There were renowned athletes, musicians, and actors, and even Adam Sandler’s family members, who made appearances in the movie.

The appearance of Scott Mescudi, aka Kid Cudi, was more of a surprise because the movie did not bring him in till the closing moments. He also brought in another surprise guest with him.

After Happy won the championship and finally secured the future of his family, the FBI raided Hal L’s Alcoholics Anonymous front.

Two of the FBI agents, leading the team, were Kid Cudi and Sarah Sarandos, the latter being Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos’ daughter. This was arguably the most offbeat cameo, as no one saw it coming. Though Kid Cudi appeared in the closing moments of the film, the surprise appearance was interesting, especially for his fans.

Kid Cudi has been into acting for a long time now. He began his acting career with the HBO series How to Make It in America in 2010 and has since appeared in multiple acclaimed projects. His works in acting include Entourage (2015), Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020), Don’t Look Up (2021), and X (2022). And now, a memorable appearance in Happy Gilmore 2 is also part of the list.

Happy Gilmore 2 was released on Netflix on July 25, 2025.
