Jammu: A disturbing case of road rage was caught on camera in Jammu's Green Belt Park area, where a man on a scooty was deliberately run over by a Mahindra Thar driver after a collision.

The incident took place around 2:18 pm on Monday. According to CCTV footage, the Thar was speeding and attempting to overtake an SUV on a narrow, single-lane road. At the same time, a scooty rider was approaching from the opposite direction, travelling on his correct side.

Instead of slowing down, the Thar driver veered onto the wrong side and hit the scooty head-on. The rider fell off his two-wheeler, and the Thar initially drove away. But shockingly, within just three seconds, the driver reversed the vehicle and intentionally ran over the man again.
The victim fell hard on his back and sustained serious injuries. Footage shows the driver stepping out of his vehicle, pointing at the injured man lying on the road, and then walking back to his car without offering any help. He then drove away from the scene.
Local bystanders rushed to the man's aid and took him to a government hospital in Jammu. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Authorities are working to identify and arrest the driver, who remains at large. The incident has sparked outrage, with many demanding strict action for the deliberate act of violence on the road.
