UP LT Grade Teacher: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to 7466 posts of LT Grade Teacher. This recruitment is being done for 15 different subjects. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official websitehttps://uppsc.up.nic.in. For the first time in this recruitment process, selection will be done on the basis of the main examination after preliminary (objective) examination.

Category-wise details of total posts

A total of 7466 posts have been announced under the LT Grade Teacher Recruitment 2025, out of which 4860 posts are reserved for the male category, 2525 posts for the female category, and 81 posts under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. This recruitment will be done in 15 subjects. The Commission has clarified that the number of posts may increase or decrease as per the circumstances and requirements.

Age Limit and Eligibility

To participate in the recruitment, the age of the candidate should be between 21 years and a maximum of 40 years on 1 July 2025. That is, the candidate should not have been born before 2 July 1985 or after 1 July 2004. Relaxation will also be provided to reserved categories in the prescribed age limit as per the rules.

OTR mandatory, application without registration unacceptable
The Secretary of the Commission has advised the candidates to complete their One Time Registration (OTR) before the application process starts. Only OTR-based applications will be accepted by the Commission. Applications of candidates who do not have an OTR number will not be accepted.

Earlier, the Commission had issued an advertisement for the recruitment of LT grade teachers on 10768 posts for 15 subjects in March 2018. However, in that recruitment, a controversy arose regarding eligibility in many subjects, due to which the selection process was stuck for a long time.
