Many times it happens that after reading an important message, we forget to reply. Many times, we do not remember to open someone's chat. But now this will not happen, because WhatsApp has started a new and useful feature for Android beta users, which is called Remind Me.

This feature is especially beneficial for those who forget to reply to important messages many times due to a busy lifestyle. Here we will tell you how this feature works.

What is the Remind Me feature?

This new feature, launched in WhatsApp beta version 2.25.21.14, allows users to set a reminder on any message. This means that now you can avoid forgetting an important message in a chat, because you will get a notification on time.

The special thing about this feature is that it works not only on text, but also on images, videos, GIFs, audio, and documents.

How to use the Remind Me feature?

It is easy to use. For this, long-press on the message on which you want to set a reminder. The bell icon will appear at the top of the screen. Click on it. A menu will open, in which you will get four options for reminder, including 2 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, and Custom (choose your time and date). At the set time, you will get a notification from WhatsApp, which will also include the content of the message, the name of the chat and the media preview.

If you want to remove the reminder, press that message again and delete the reminder by clicking on the bell icon.

Why is this feature special?

This feature is different from star message or pin chat. In this, you are reminded through direct notification. This can end the problem of forgetting important things. Any important document, answer or reminder will now be available to you on time.

Quick Recap: Another new feature
WhatsApp is testing another new feature called Quick Recap. This feature tells users the summary of unread chats. Through this feature, you can quickly identify important information from many unread messages.
