SSC Recruitment 2025 August Exam Dates Out: SSC has issued an important notice for the youth preparing for government jobs. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the date of recruitment examinations to be held in August 2025, through which more than 600 vacant posts will be filled. SSC Combined Hindi Translator Exam (SSC CHT) and Stenographer Recruitment Examination will be conducted in August 2025. This is the right time for revision for the candidates who had applied for both these recruitments.

According to the notice issued by the Commission, the recruitment examination of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D will be held on 6, 7, and 8 August 2025, while the recruitment examination of Hindi Translator 2025 (Paper-1) will be held on 12 August 2025.

SSC Vacancy Details: More than 600 vacancies will be filled

A total of 261 Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' posts will be filled through this recruitment drive, while a total of 437 vacant posts of Hindi Translator (CHT) will be filled. The Commission has advised the applicants to keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.

SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern: How will the Stenographer Exam be?

To get a government job in the Stenographer post, candidates will have to give a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and a Skill Test. A total of 200 objective-type multiple-choice (MCQ) questions will be asked in the CBT, and each question will be worth 1 mark. These will include a General Awareness paper of 50 marks, a General Intelligence and Reasoning paper of 50 marks, and an English Language and Comprehension paper of 100 marks. The total time for the exam will be 120 minutes, i.e., 2 hours. Keep in mind that one-fourth marks (0.25) will be deducted as negative marking in the exam.

SSC CHT Exam Pattern: How will the Hindi Translator paper be?

SSC CHT Paper 1 exam will have 100 100 questions from General Hindi and English. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. Paper 1 will have only objective-type multiple-choice (MCQ) questions. Based on the marks obtained in Paper-1 i.e., computer based examination, candidates will be shortlisted category wise to appear in Paper-2 (written examination). There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-1.
