In an interview with Pinkvilla, the idol opened up about the inspiration behind his songs and solo debut, citing that his conversations with the producers were the most helpful. He also talked about the artists that inspired him as well, naming Justin Bieber and Troye Sivan and their ability to “capture and express their own unique emotions and colours through their music”.
Yuchan also got candid about working on his own, as opposed to his usual scenario of working with a team of supportive members. He shared that the responsibilities have increased on him, as with a group, everything about a performance and a song is distributed; however, as a solo artist, everything is on you.
