Inspiration from Akanksha Yojana

The Akanksha Yojana of the Jharkhand government has already opened the doors of success for meritorious and poor students. Under this scheme, students of class 11th and 12th are given free residential coaching of medical and engineering along with higher secondary studies. Initially 40-40 students were built, which have now increased to 75 students for medical and 100 students for engineering.

Students are selected through the entrance examination conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council. The Department of School Education and Literacy launched the scheme in 2016-17. Now the Welfare Department is giving this initiative more detail for tribal students.
