The Delhi Premier League (DPL) returns for its second edition in August 2025, promising a month of high-octane T20 cricket in the heart of India’s capital.

Tournament Overview

  • Dates: August 2 – August 31 (Men’s Edition)
  • Venue: All matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi
  • Organizer: Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA)
  • Format: Double round-robin group stage followed by playoffs
  • Expansion: This year expands to 8 teams (up from 6), introducing two new franchises—Outer Delhi Warriors and New Delhi Tigers.

The teams are split into two groups of four:

Group A

  • East Delhi Riders

Each team plays 10 group stage matches: twice against teams in their group and once against teams from the other group.
