The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has started the registration process for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 UG-PG from today, August 1. To appear in the entrance exam, students can apply by visiting the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The last date for registration for CLAT 2026 is 31 October 2025. The CLAT 2026 exam for admission to Law UG and PG courses will be conducted on 7 December 2025 at various centers across the country. NLU had already released the complete schedule of CLAT 2026, which contains all the information, including exam pattern, application fees, and eligibility.

CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Who can apply for CLAT UG-PG?

Candidates applying for the CLAT UG entrance exam must have passed 12th from any recognized board. General category candidates should have passed intermediate with 45% and reserved category candidates with 40% marks. At the same time, for CLAT PG, students must have an LLB degree. The general category should have passed with 45% and the reserved category with 40% marks.

CLAT 2026 Application Fee: What is the CLAT 2026 application fee?

General candidates registering for the entrance exam will have to pay an application fee of Rs 4000. At the same time, the application fee for SC, ST, and Divyang categories has been fixed at Rs 3500. The application fee can be deposited in online mode.
