Ghaziabad map approval: There has been a big relief news for those who dream of building a house. Now there will be no need to go round the authority's offices to pass the map for the construction of the building in Ghaziabad. The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has completely made the entire map pass process completely online, which will not only save time but will also provide relief from unnecessary race.
GDA Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh informed that now the 'online building plan approval system (OBPAS)' has been fully updated. Under this system, now any person can apply to pass the map sitting at home and the system itself will check whether the map is as per rules or not.
Significantly, the Uttar Pradesh government had recently approved the Building Construction and Development Substance and Adarsh Zoning Regulation-2025. After this, on July 4, all the development authorities were instructed to update their online system as per the new rules.
For this, a committee was formed on July 11, which sought two months to upgrade the system. However, the government started a new OBPAS system before the scheduled time, which will provide considerable relief to the common citizens.
The maps were manually examined by 30 September. Due to this, people had to make many rounds of the GDA office. Also, people had to wait for months due to delays and intricacies. But now this entire process has become digital, which will increase both transparency and speed.
If you want to pass a map to build a house in Ghaziabad, then adopt this process:
This new system is a major step towards technical reforms not only Ghaziabad but also in the urban development of the entire state. If it is successfully implemented, other authority can also adopt this model. This will promote e-governance and provide better services to ordinary citizens.
