Technology technology ,As a historic step towards becoming a global player in fiscal technology and digital innovation, Odisha will host the India version of the Black Swan Summit (BSS) in the first quarter of 2026, a report stated in a report.

The Black Swan Summit, launched earlier this year in Perth, is a major international platform run by the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN). It brings together policy makers, industry leaders, startups and academics to detect disruptive techniques including toking, artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing and digital infrastructure.

The state’s visit to the state on the Global Fintech stage began with a memorandum signed with the Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF) at GFTN and National University of Singapore (NUS) during the visit of Singapore President Therman Shanmigratna in January. Remandable, that agreement laid the foundation of a multidimensional strategy to promote skill development, startup incubation and high-level research in financial technologies. The center of this vision is the upcoming integrated global financial technology capacity center (I-GFTCH), which will be inaugurated on 21 August in Bhubaneswar.

The I-GFTCH will serve as a talented center, which will train more than 7,000 students in Fintech and Insuretech in the next five years through a hybrid certification program in partnership with Nus-AIDF. The i-GFTCH will also have an excellence center that will provide supportups and SMEs supporting through incubation, mentorship, bootcamp and enterprise development programs. The center aims to directly produce more than 2,000 jobs and promote field-wide innovation, while Odisha’s Financial Services Sector Vision Odisha is estimated to increase by up to 49% by 2036 and 2047 by 2047.
