News, New Delhi: Dhadak 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: After Syara’s tremendous success, it was expected that Siddhant Chaturvedi and Trupti Dimri’s romantic thriller “Dhadak 2” would also bang at the box office. But the reality turned out to be slightly different. On the first day of release, the film failed to touch the double digit figure and that is why everyone’s eyes were on the second day’s collection.

Critics and audience mixed response

Dhadak 2, made on a serious issue like casteism and honor killing, received mixed response from critics and audiences. According to the report by Caiknilk, the film did a business of Rs 3.75 crore on the second day of release i.e. Saturday. This figure is considered much less than expected for this film made under the banner of Dharma Production.

Earned so much in two days

The domestic box office collection of Dhadak 2 in two days has now reached a little above Rs 7 crore. The makers hoped that the film would earn between 10 and 15 crores in the first two days, but the figures were disappointing. Now all expectations are on Sunday’s earnings, because only good growth in the first weekend can save the film.

There was a hit at the office

The first Dhadak, released in 2018, earned many times more in the early days of its release and proved to be a box office hit. In the first film, the pair of Ishan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor were heartbroken by the audience, but the sequel has not started like that.
