Mahavatar Narasimha: At the box office, Mahavatar Narasimha is a formidable presence. Because of the great word-of-mouth, the animated mythological picture has become the biggest hit at the ticket booths. Large crowds of people are swarming to theaters to see the enchanted tale. In the midst of this, a tragic event happened in Guwahati when a ceiling fell during a movie showing, injuring three people, including children.

During the showing of Mahavatar Narsimha, the roof of the theater falls

The event happened on Sunday night at a PVR theater in Guwahati when the film Mahavatar Narsimha was being shown. The crowd was shocked when a section of the artificial ceiling abruptly fell on them while they were absorbed in the movie. During the viewing, the debris was screwed everywhere. Three people, including children, were hurt in the event. On social media, images taken inside the theater have suddenly gone viral.

First assistance was administered to those hurt, and the movie’s showing was abruptly terminated. The theater has now been closed for inspection after the personnel assisted the patrons in leaving safely. Authorities are still awaiting an official announcement, however.

Narsimha’s Mahavatar box office

Ashwin Kumar’s Mahavatar Narsimha is having a record-breaking run at the box office. On Day 10, Mahavatar Narsimha’s morning and afternoon performances brought in Rs 13.4 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The movie has made a total of Rs 81.25 crore at the domestic box office so far. Despite the release of Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2, the film has maintained its outstanding performance.

Under the auspices of Kleem Productions, which is presented by Hombale Films and is renowned for its gripping content, Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai are producing the film. On July 25, 2025, it was made available in five Indian languages and in 3D.

The cast of this ambitious animated series, which will follow the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu over a ten-year period, has also been formally revealed by Hombale Films and Kleem Productions. The names are Mahavatar Narsimha (2025), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035), and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037).
