Vijay Deverakonda 's latest release, 'Kingdom', seems to be losing some of its early momentum after the film had seen an amazing opening at the box office. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri , the action-packed drama opened to mostly positive reviews and registered one of the strongest openings of Vijay 's career. However, as the weekdays set in, the film’s collection appears to be declining.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Kingdom earned around Rs 2.25 crore net on its fifth day (Monday), across all languages in India. With this, the film's total Indian net collection stands at an estimated Rs 43.15 crore after five days. While the opening weekend numbers were impressive, with Day 1 minting over Rs 18 crore, Day 2 Rs 7.5 crore, Day 3 Rs 8 crore, Day 4 Rs 7.4 crore and Day 5 Rs 2.25 crore.
The makers of the film on social media shared that the film has collected over Rs 82 crore worldwide.
Theatre occupancy
'Kingdom,' which had a strong start in the Telugu states, saw a noticeable decline in theatre occupancy on Monday. As per data, the film registered an overall Telugu occupancy of 16.38% on August 4. Here's how the numbers played out across the day, morning shows: 13.67%, afternoon shows: 17.69%, evening shows: 15.71% and night shows: 18.44%.

Though night shows performed slightly better, the overall occupancy suggests a fairly common weekday slump.
In Tamil Nadu, the film’s performance has been relatively modest since its release. On Monday, Kingdom recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of just 11.39%. The breakdown across the day is as follows morning shows: 9.99%, afternoon shows: 12.02%, evening shows: 8.81% and night shows: 14.73%.
