Desk. South Star Vijay Deverakonda’s film ‘Kingdom’ (Kingdom) has been released in Hindi under the name ‘Empire’. These days remain in theaters. The film is earning a little slowly at the box office. Now meanwhile the film faced opposition in areas like Madurai and Trichy in Tamilnadu. Tamil pro -Tamil leaders have also criticized the Sri Lankan Tamils being allegedly shown incorrectly and demanded the film to be banned.
Tamil pro -Tamil party ‘Tamiller Kachi activists staged a protest against the’ Kingdom ‘outside the theaters of Trichy and demanded a ban on the film being shown. NTK State Publicity Secretary Saravanan said that the film insults the LTTE fighters and the Tamils. He struggled for 30 years and was martyred, but he is shown as slaves living in the hilly areas.
This is an attempt to distort historical facts and we cannot allow it. He has not received justice yet and many people are still missing. The name Tamil Kachi cannot do such things that hurt them. The protesters also met a prominent theater manager of the district, after which the banners of ‘Kingdom’ were removed. In the midst of increasing opposition to the film, the film distributors in Tamil Nadu have approached the Madras High Court demanding police protection. After which this matter is now becoming big.
