The Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is ready at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai and will soon be rolled out on the tracks. The Ambala Division has received the proposal to run a Vande Bharat Sleeper Train from Chandigarh to Izzat Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. In addition to this, the Indian Railways has also decided to run semi-high-speed trains from Gorakhpur to Agra, Lucknow to Jaipur and Varanasi to Jabalpur. The route chart has been prepared by the officials.
Chandigarh-Izzat Nagar Vande Bharat Train Route
The route of the Vande Bharat Express Train running from Chandigarh to Izzat Nagar has been decided, Jagran.com reported. This train will depart from Chandigarh and reach Izzat Nagar via Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Kathgarh, Kashipur, and Lalkuan.
Jaipur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Train Route
The Vande Bharat Express train will leave from Jaipur, and it will reach Lucknow via Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra, Tundla, and Kanpur Central. The timetable will be released soon.
Gorakhpur-Agra Vande Bharat Train Route
The Vande Bharat Express trains running between Gorakhpur and Agra will reach Agra from Gorakhpur via Barabanki, Malhor, Aishbagh, Manaknagar, and Kanpur Central.
Varanasi-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Train Route
The route of the Varanasi-Jabalpur Vande Bharat train has been almost decided. The train will depart from Varanasi and arrive in Jabalpur via Prayagraj and Manikpur.
In another update, the Indian Railways informed that the Vande Bharat Sleeper trains will be equipped with modern facilities. It will comprise 16 coaches, including AC First Class, AC Two Tier and AC Three Tier, and 1,128 passengers will be able to travel in these trains at a time. Earlier, the Vande Bharat Trains had Chair Car and Executive Class. Keeping in mind the rising demand for Vande Bharat while ensuring affordability, the Railway Ministry has decided to roll out sleeper coaches.
