Maharashtra NEET UG 2025: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will release the provisional merit list for NEET UG counselling 2025 today, August 6, 2025. Only candidates who registered themselves for the counselling process by August 4 are included in the list and will be considered for the MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates can view their provisional merit list at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Along with the merit list, the seat matrix for MBBS and BDS courses will also be displayed. Thereafter, candidates will be able to enter their course and college preferences from 3 PM today to 11:59 PM on August 9.

The Round 1 CAP (Centralised Admission Process) selection list is scheduled to be released on August 11. Candidates allotted seats will have to complete physical joining, pay fees, and submit all original documents, along with the status retention form, between August 12 and August 17 (except on August 15).

CET Cell has made it clear that counselling timetables for Group B (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) and Group C (BNYS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, B(P&O)) courses will be notified later on separately.

The applicants are requested to carefully check their eligibility and ensure that they have uploaded all the scanned original documents as needed. More specifically, PwD applicants must have availed themselves of the quota during the NEET application and will be asked to provide a genuine online PWD certificate from one of the 16 prescribed medical boards.

Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 admission will be carried out in four phases:

-Round 1

-Round 2

-Mop-Up Round

-Institutional/Stray Vacancy Round (if there are any vacant seats)
