Shera, the trusted bodyguard of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is currently grieving the loss of his father, Sundar Singh Jolly, who passed away at the age of 88 due to cancer. The last rites are scheduled to take place at Oshiwara Crematorium in Andheri West, Mumbai, with ceremonies beginning from 4 PM at Shera’s residence on Lokhandwala Back Road, Oshiwara.

Just days before his father’s passing, Shera had celebrated his 88th birthday with heartfelt affection, referring to him as his hero, inspiration, and source of all his strength. Shera’s deep love and respect for his father were evident in his recent emotional tribute.

Known as Salman Khan’s right-hand man, Shera (real name Gurmeet Singh Jolly) has been the actor’s personal bodyguard and head of security since 1995. Their close bond is well recognized, with Shera often seen providing unwavering protection around the clock. His loyalty and dedication have earned him immense respect and a strong fan following, with over 1.2 million Instagram followers.

Before joining Salman’s security team, Shera was an accomplished bodybuilder, winning the Mumbai Junior title in 1987 and becoming runner-up in the Mr. Maharashtra Junior contest in 1998. He also runs his own security firm, Tiger Security, which has served numerous celebrities, including managing security for Justin Bieber’s Mumbai concert in 2017.
