BEML Brahma Project Bhopal: Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, is going to get a historic gift on August 10, which will change the industrial and economic scenario of the state. The BEML Rail Coach Unit to be built at a cost of Rs 1800 crore will be given by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The project will accelerate the development of not only Bhopal but also Raisen, Sehore and Vidisha districts, but will also open new doors of employment and industrial opportunities for the youth of these areas.
On the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under this Brahma project of Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), rail hub for manufacturing will be prepared on more than 60 hectares of land in village Umaria in Raisen district. Here the coaches of Vande Bharat, Amrit India and Metro trains will be made, which will initiate a new era of Indian Railways. The project is a powerful example of Make in India Mission, which will carry forward the country towards indigenous production and technical self -sufficiency.
This project will create more than 1500 direct and indirect employment opportunities. Students studying in technical institutes of Bhopal, Raisen, Sehore and Vidisha districts will get both training and employment here. This will not only benefit the local youth, but will also communicate new energy in industry and service sectors.

Not only Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, but Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Defense Produce Secretary Sanjay Kumar, Railway Board President Satish Kumar and BEML President Shantanu Rai will also be present at the Bhumi Pujan program to be held at Dussehra ground in Aubedullaganj on 10 August. The program will showcase the short film, 3D Walkthrough and the proposed plant models focused on the BEML project. It is estimated that about 10,000 people will be involved on this historic occasion.
This rail hub will not only increase the speed of Bhopal, which is developing as Metropolitan City, but will also attract industrial investment in the surrounding districts. There will be a big change in the coming years in the field of employment, trade and infrastructure.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav while reviewing the preparations for the Bhumi Pujan program said that this ambitious project should be widely publicized so that more and more people joined it. He also instructed the participants to make special preparations for traffic, meeting arrangements, food and drinking water.
More than 1500 direct and indirect employment will be created in the project. Local youth, engineering students and technical trainees will get priority. Bhumi Pujan will be held at Dussehra ground in Aubedullaganj. The program will also feature a short film focused on the rail hub, the 3D walkthrough of the plant and the model exhibition.
