Social media platform Instagram remains in the news every day for its new features. Recently, its 3 features are trending a lot. The list includes Repost, Social Map, and Friends Tab. All these features are very interesting and are going to completely change the experience of the users. Let's know how these features work.

What is the 'Repost' feature and how will it work?

This feature makes Instagram like Twitter (now X) and Facebook, where you can easily share your favorite content with your audience. With this, your profile will no longer be limited to your content, but it will show what you like.

What is the Social Map feature, and how will it work?

Instagram will now not only tell what your friends are doing, but it will also show where they are and where they have visited. The new 'Social Map' is an interactive map that gives direct competition to Google Maps and Snap Map.

On this map, you can see the places tagged by friends (like cafes, parks, restaurants). This feature will prove to be very useful for planning to meet outside with friends and exploring new places.

Are you also tired of seeing viral videos of unknown people in your reels feed? Instagram has found an interesting solution. Now you will also get a new 'Friends' tab along with 'Following' in the reels section.

In this tab, you will see only the reels of those people whom you follow. That is, all the reels that your friends have seen will be visible to you on this tab.
