The Northeast Railway has sent a proposal to the Railway Board to run the Vande Bharat train on several important routes, including Lucknow -Jaipur along with Gorakhpur to Agra Fort, Banaras to Jabalpur and Izatnagar to Chandigarh. This step of the railway will provide huge cuts and better facilities to passengers in the time taken in the journey.

Proposal sent, waiting for approval

On August 4, the Northeast Railway has sent a proposal to the Railway Board and the concerned Railway Administration for the operation of the Vande Bharat train. According to railway officials, train operations will be started on these routes as soon as the approval is received. The board has also agreed to construct sheds for Vande Bharat train in Gorakhpur. Although formal approval has not yet been received, it is expected that this approval will be received before August 15.

Lucknow -Jaipur route operates and time

According to the proposal, Vande Bharat train will leave from Gomtinagar station in Lucknow at 5:50 am and reach Jaipur at 2 pm. In return, this train will run from Jaipur at 3 pm and reach Lucknow at 11 pm. The train will run six days a week except Saturday.

Other proposed routes and their plans

  • Gorakhpur- Agra Fort: On this route too, Vande Bharat Train will leave for six days on Thursday.
  • Banaras-Jabalpur: There is a plan to run train on this route six days a week.
  • Izatnagar-Chandigarh: The train will not run here on Saturday, service will be available on the rest of the day.
