Wednesday season two, part one is on Netflix now with the first four episodes following Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) after she lost her psychic abilities.

While investigating a series of mysterious deaths, Wednesday knew the killer was taunting her and was always one step ahead.

It appears the killer, who was revealed at the end of the first four episodes, had been able to block Wednesday's psychic abilities.

While discussing her predicament with her mother, Morticia (Catherine Zeta Jones), Wednesday discovered her Aunt Ophelia, who also had psychic powers, had spent some time at Willow Hill.

Morticia had explained how the siblings' mother, Grandmama Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley), had turned her back on Aunt Ophelia when she needed her most.

Morticia had vowed she would not do the same to Wednesday, which is why she was so keen for Wednesday to give up the chase.

A new theory suggests Aunt Ophelia actually appeared in episode four, without fans realising.

When Uncle Fester visited Willow Hill to find Ophelia a long time ago, he discovered she had already disappeared.

At the end of the episode, Wednesday discovered the Long Term Outcast Integration Study - or LOIS for short - a secret programme.

All of the missing outcasts who were claimed to be dead were being held captive - their deaths having been faked so they could be kept as experiments.

As Aunt Ophelia had strong psychic abilities she was unable to control, she would have made the perfect subject for experimentation.

When Wednesday approached each of the outcasts, there was one woman with long, brunette hair who seemed to have a unique reaction to seeing her.

The woman, who was wondering if Wednesday was there to kill her, seemed to form a special connection with Wednesday, who later helped her escape from the facility.

All the clues suggest this woman could be Wednesday's Aunt Ophelia and, now that she is free again, the pair may learn to discover their familial bond.
