Box Office Triumph of 'Mahavatar Narsimha'

New Delhi: The animated feature Mahavatar Narsimha, directed by Ashwin Kumar, has surpassed the remarkable milestone of Rs 100 crore at the Indian box office.


Produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions, the film is brought to audiences by Hombale Films.


As of now, the film's domestic gross stands at Rs 104.14 crore, while its global earnings have exceeded Rs 175 crore, as reported by the production team.


Since its release on July 25, this film has set a new record as the highest-grossing animated film in India.


Additionally, it marks the first Hindi animated feature to cross the Rs 100 crore threshold.


This film is part of a larger seven-part animated series known as the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe.


This expansive universe will unfold over the next decade, depicting the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu.


Future installments include Mahavatar Parshuram set for 2027, Mahavatar Raghunandan in 2029, Mahavatar Dwarkadhish in 2031, and Mahavatar Gokulananda in 2033. The series will continue with Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 in 2035 and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 in 2037.


The film has been released globally in both 2D and 3D formats across five languages: Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
