When will the second lunar eclipse of 2025 occur?

As per Indian Standard Time, the year’s second lunar eclipse will begin on 7 September at 9:58 pm and end on 8 September at 1:26 am, lasting for a total of 3 hours and 29 minutes. This will be a total lunar eclipse, visible not only in India but also across several countries worldwide. The Sutak period — considered inauspicious in Hindu tradition — will begin on 6 September at 12:57 pm and will continue until the eclipse ends.
