
Delhi Industrial Ideathon 2025
The first Industrial Ideathon 2025 of the Delhi government has received a great response from students and innovators. A total of 652 teams registered in four different categories to participate in the competition. The purpose of this unique idea is to find technology-based and practical solutions for the challenges of the industrial sector of Delhi.
This competition is being organized by Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) in collaboration with the Department of Industries, GNCTD. The prestigious Netaji Subhash University of Technology (NSUT) has been made its official knowledge partner. The prize money of a total of 40 lakh rupees is making this competition special.
Industry Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa expressed happiness over this tremendous participation. He said, it is a clear indication that the youth of Delhi not only want to demonstrate their skills, but they also want to play an active role in creating our industrial future. This competition focuses on the solution of real problems that our industrial world faces daily. During the registration, the portal of the competition got more than one lakh impressions and more than two thousand sign-ups, which highlight Delhi's innovation capacity.
Out of 652 registers, 124 teams will be shortlisted and will participate in the preliminary round to be held in NSut on August 13. This will be an 8 -hour round, in which teams will work on four major case studies.
After the preliminary round, 10 best teams will be selected from each category, that is, a total of 40 teams will reach the grand finale to be held on August 22. Here these teams will present their innovative solutions to the industry and government officials. All participants will be given certificates and winners will be honored by senior dignitaries at the closing ceremony.
