News Desk. The Bihar government has launched a special “Revenue Maha Abhiyan” to accurate and update land records in the state. This campaign has been launched under the State Revenue and Land Reforms Department, the main objective of which is to improve the errors to the general public by visiting their doors.

Training and preparation

A training session was organized to ensure the success of this campaign at the House Bhawan of Sikti Block Headquarters, which included Revenue Employees, Zone Amin, Survey Amin, Data Entry Operator, Panchayat Secretary and Vikas Mitra. The training was monitored by BDO Parvez Alam and RO Satish Kumar, while Sikti CO Manish Kumar Chaudhary and Kursakata CO Alok Kumar shared important information as master trainers.

What will happen in this campaign

Jamabandi Error Reform:In this, the names, account number, Khesra, acreage and rent to the ryot (farmer/land owner) will be corrected.

Succession nomination:After the death of a ryot, his land will be recorded on the basis of lineage.

Partition Nomination:Separate records will be prepared in the name of the stakeholders according to the mutual agreement, court order or registry of joint lands.

How will the campaign reach your door

The revenue department team will go from village to village between August 16 and September 20 and distribute a copy of the house-to-door Jamabandi. A camp will be organized in every panchayat at a government building or panchayat government building, where people will be able to submit information to their land.

Work will be completed in three stages

This campaign will be held in three stages:

First step:Distribution of documents and collecting applications

Second phase: Checking and correction of applications received

third step: Distribution of improved documents
