Lokesh Kanagaraj shared a BTS picture from the setsRecently, Lokesh shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the sets of ‘Coolie’, thanking his editor Philomin Raj and in the picture, Rajinikanth , Aamir Khan , Shruti Haasan , Lokesh, and the editor are seen gathered around a monitor, checking if a particular shot turned out as expected. This candid moment from the shooting spot has now gone viral on social media, creating even more buzz for the film.

About ‘Coolie’‘Coolie’ was initially planned to hit the screens on May 1, 2025. However, the release had to be postponed due to some pending work. The film’s music is composed by the sensational Anirudh Ravichander, who is known for delivering chartbuster songs, making the anticipation for the soundtrack just as high as the film itself.
Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Coolie’ is all set for a grand release on August 14, 2025, and this big-budget gangster action drama is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and features a powerful star cast including Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir , and Sathyaraj and also adding to the excitement, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has also joined the film. He reportedly agreed to be a part of this project out of his admiration and respect for Rajinikanth, fondly called Thalaivar, and for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s work.
