BSEB has extended the last date for spot enrollment in 11th and Intermediate till 18 August 2025. Now students of CBSE, CISCE and other boards will also be able to participate in this process. Institutions will have to update the data by 19 August.

BSEB OFSS Admission 2025: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has given a big relief to the students wishing to take admission in class 11th and Intermediate in the academic session 2025-27. Now the last date for spot admission has been extended to 18 August 2025. Earlier this process was scheduled from 4 to 10 August, but now the students have got eight days extra time for enrollment.

Who can apply

As per the instructions of the committee, the principals of all +2 and inter-level educational institutions of the state will put the information about the vacant seats available with them on the notice board. Students who have not yet enrolled can take advantage of this opportunity. Apart from this, students passing from CBSE, CISCE and other boards can also apply by following the prescribed procedure. At the same time, students who could not enroll despite being selected in the second and third selection list will also be able to participate in this process, provided their name is recorded in the final list of the concerned institute.


Institutions will have to do these tasks by August 19

It will be mandatory for all institutions to update the data of enrolled students online on the OFSS portal by August 19, 2025. The committee has clarified that the entire process of spot enrollment will be as per the earlier issued advertisement number-PR 173/2025.

Students will get last chance

This decision of Bihar Board has given special relief to those students who could not enroll on time. The board has advised the students to go to their nearest institute as soon as possible and check the availability of seats and complete the enrollment process before the prescribed date.
