The board has clarified that the One Time Registration (OTR) process is going on for 4,543 posts of SI and equivalent posts and more than two and a half lakh candidates have registered so far.

Application notice will be issued this week

According to the recruitment board, detailed release and application related information for this recruitment will be released this week. Candidates were waiting for a long time for the start of this recruitment process, while the demand for starting recruitment from the board soon on social media had also intensified.

Candidates who want to participate in this recruitment should go to the official website of UP Police Recruitment Board as soon as possible and complete the One Time Registration (OTR). The board has also clarified that the OTR process will be mandatory in all the upcoming recruitments, so the candidates who have not yet registered should complete this process immediately.

Was waiting for a long time

In March 2025, the board had shared the information about SI recruitment, but there was disappointment among the candidates due to non-release of the release. Meanwhile, posts were being continuously made on social media with hashtags like #SIRecruitmentSoon. Candidates said that the delay in the process is affecting their preparation. In view of these reactions, the recruitment board has made it clear today that the application notice will be issued this week, so that the candidates can get a chance to prepare on time.
