UP Assembly felicitates Captain Shubhanshu Shukla amid uproar over Fatehpur case Khelja  |  13/08/2025 00:21:04



Amid uproar in the House on the second day of the UP assembly session on Tuesday over the Fatehpur case, BJP MLA Dr Neeraj Bora presented a proposal on Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, which was passed amidst members thumping the table.






BJP MLA Dr Neeraj Bora presented a proposal in the House under Rule 110 to appreciate the achievements of Lucknow resident Shubhanshu Shukla. During the proceedings, Dr Bora thanked Shubhanshu Shukla inside the House. However, Samajwadi Party members continued to create a ruckus over the Fatehpur case in the well of the House.
When Speaker Satish Mahana placed the proposal before the House, Dr Neeraj Bora urged the SP members to take their seats, but they remained in the well. Despite this, he read out his proposal in the House, and it was passed.
