Odysse sun: Premium electric vehicle manufacturer Odysse Electric Vehicles has introduced its new high-speed electric scooter Odysse Sun. It has been designed specially keeping in mind the modern riders. It has many smart features, powerful lithium-ion battery and sporty design with comfortable riding.

Performance and Range

Odysse Sun has a 2500W motor and 60V voltage system. It comes with a chemical start-stop system. Its top speed is 70 km per hour. It has three mode- City drive, parking and reverse.

This scooter is available in two battery packs, 1.95 kwh and 2.90 kwh. The 1.95 kwh battery gives a range of about 85 km and 2.90 kwh batteries in a charge about 130 km. Both batteries are AIS 156 approved and are full charged in 4 to 4.5 hours.

Design and dimensions (Odysse sun)

The scooter has a length of 2000 mm, width 770 mm and height is 1105 mm. Its wheelbase is 1310 mm and ground clearance is 170 mm. The height of the seat is 780 mm and the weight is 73 kg. It has a load capacity of up to 150 kg.

Suspension and Brex (Odysse sun)

Telescopic suspension in the front and heavy spring loaded suspension in the rear. Both wheels have 90/90–12 tubeless tires and disc brakes.

Odysse Sun has digital meter, LED lighting, hydraulic multi-level adjustable shock absorber, 32 liter under-sit storage, keyless start, double flash reverse lights and aviation-grade seating.

Price and variants (Odysse sun)

Odysse sun is available in four colors- Patina Green, Gunmetal Gray, Phantom Black and Ice Blue. The ex-showroom price of 1.95 kwh variants is Rs 81,000 and the price of 2.90 kwh variants is Rs 91,000. Its booking has started on the company’s website and dealership.
