popular reality show Tamasha has kicked off with a major announcement: the winner of Tamasha Season 4 will receive a whopping Rs. 50 lakh prize. Host Adnan Seddiqui revealed the news during the show, highlighting that this season boasts the biggest budget in Tamasha history — doubling last year’s prize of Rs. 25 lakh, which was won by Malik Aqeel.
While the contestants inside the house were visibly thrilled to hear about the grand prize, the reaction from viewers has been far less enthusiastic. Fans of the show have taken to social media to express their disappointment, particularly with the selection of this year’s participants.
Unlike previous seasons, Tamasha 4 features relatively unknown faces — struggling actors, singers, and artists who are still trying to make their mark in the entertainment industry. For many viewers, this casting choice hasn’t lived up to expectations.
Criticism has poured in across platforms. One user commented, “The contestants of season 4 aren’t worthy of this amount,” while another called it “the cheapest season with average contestants.” Another wrote sarcastically, “Prize money for spreading vulgarity.” One particularly harsh comment read, “Big Boss from Temu,” comparing the show to a low-budget version of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss.
Despite the backlash, Tamasha continues to trend online, with fans and critics alike following every update. While the prize money may be at an all-time high, it remains to be seen whether this season can win over audiences with engaging content and strong performances — or if the criticism will overshadow the show’s glitzy rewards.
